Most of the above mentioned lamps need 5 to 8 hours of sunlight to fully charge their batteries. When deciding where to install the fixtures, make sure they contain sunlight for most of the day. Beware of shrubs, trees or buildings that can block the sunlight during the day or in the morning.
Watertightness
If you plan to use your solar energy outdoors (and probably will!), take a second to read the waterproofness of the solar energy.
There is a lot of talk about this light or what is waterproof, weatherproof or impenetrable, but these are very common terms. Instead, try to find the IP rating of each fixture that tells you exactly how much water the fixture can tolerate.
